Centre for Critical Sectorial Preparedness and Strategic Resilience (CCSPSR)

The Centre for Critical Sectorial Preparedness and Strategic Resilience (CCSPSR) is committed to understanding, preparing for, and strengthening the resilience of Bharat’s vital sectors. It focuses on critical domains such as aviation, financial services, healthcare, energy, and digital infrastructure. As a collaborative platform, CCSPSR brings together experts, stakeholders, and policymakers to identify vulnerabilities and emerging threats. Through strategic insights and innovative solutions, the Centre works to ensure that these essential sectors remain strong, adaptive, and future-ready. Its mission is to safeguard Bharat’s infrastructure and economic foundation by building resilience against disruptions and risks. By promoting knowledge-sharing and strategic action, CCSPSR plays a pivotal role in securing the nation’s critical sectorial capabilities for long-term sustainability and national security.

Research Objectives

  • Identify and Mitigate Sector-Specific Risks: The Centre aims to identify vulnerabilities unique to each critical sector, assess their potential impact, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Research will focus on both immediate threats and long-term challenges, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Promote Cross-Sectorial Resilience: Recognising the interdependence of various sectors, the Centre seeks to build a comprehensive framework for resilience. This involves studying how disruptions in one sector affect others and proposing integrated risk management practices.
  • Advance Policy and Strategic Preparedness: The Centre will engage in research that informs policy decisions, advocating for regulatory and legislative measures that enhance sectorial resilience. This involves staying ahead of emerging trends, such as technological advancements and evolving geopolitical landscapes.
  • Enhance Disaster Preparedness and Crisis Management: The Centre will develop strategies to bolster disaster readiness and effective crisis response for critical sectors. By leveraging scenario analysis and simulations, the aim is to prepare sectors for both natural and human-induced crises.
  • Foster Sustainable Innovation and Practices: Through research, the Centre will explore sustainable and innovative practices that ensure long-term sectorial health. This involves promoting technologies and methods that align with environmental sustainability and global best practices.
  • Collaborate for Knowledge Sharing and Capacity Building: The Centre is committed to fostering partnerships and facilitating knowledge exchange between industry experts, academia, and government bodies. Research outcomes will contribute to building a well-informed community capable of addressing complex sectorial challenges.
